Advertising Volume for Microsoft's Top 100 Advertisers in March 2009

Microsoft's Top 100 Search Advertisers accounted for 37% of all Microsoft's paid search advertisements in AdQuants Top 500K Keywords. The proportion of Microsofts's advertisements from the Top 100 Microsoft Search Advertisers has remained steadily for Q4 2008 and Q1 2009 in the upper 30% range. However, from an absolute perspective Microsoft has seen a massive decrease in keyword purchases by the Top 100 Advertisers from Q4 2008 to Q1 2009. From November 2008 to March 2009, Microsoft has seen over a 50% decline in the number of keywords purchased by the Top 100 Advertisers.
